The Basics.

The Pen Tool is probably the most headache-giving tool in all of dear old Photoshop...But fairly now,it's probably the most wonderful one in there too :D

So I've been considering doing this for a loooong time...but eventually a friend got me to actually do it XD ;So this is for hope this tut will help =)

Also, done for all of you who want to learn use the Pen Tool but just don't find the suitable tutorial,I hope this one'll help

This Tutorial works best with the Lineart Tutorial---> [link]
If you have any doubts/problems understanding any of the steps, please let me know and I'll explain it to you in more detail :D

Hope to see many artworks coming out with this tut's bit of help ;)

Enjoy

um I have a question.
when I close the path, and click outside the the canvas to do the "fill path" and Stroke Path (only these two)" they are grayed out, and I can't click on them. I can follow the rest of the tutorial up till there.
(I use Photoshop 7.0)
:iconlightofrevival:
Use the Direct Selection Tool to click on the unselected path. Then the selection points will become visible again.

just one question though. On my old photoshop (7.0) i could see a line from the first anchor point to where i was going to set the next point... if i remember correctly, that's a setting, but i can't remember where to change it :/ hope you can help, i've been fighting with this for like 4-5 hours now :(
